This would allow you to have the generator always ready and be able to switch off the current to the house and turn on the generator at the flip of a few switches. We have that, because we have so many storms and power outages here. Also, a surge protector would be great, which protects all your electrical equipment in your house, when the power goes out, then turns back on. We've lost some appliances because of that. With all the weather problems and power outages, surges are a problem once the power is back on. Blessed Be!

You need to run that generator occasionally & the oil needs to be changed out every 100 hours of run time. If you don't do that, it will stop working. See how much oil and gas it uses, actually running your appliances, for 48 hours. Get prepared. So happy to see Dickens' & all the dogs again. Get a water filtration system and purification tablets. Build it! Prayers for you all. ❤ 🙏 ❤
I'm so excited that you got a generator. It sounds like generators are not common in Spain like they are here in the States. Please ensure you understand what and how much you can run with this new generator. Do not overload it, and learn how to run it fully. I'd hate to see you lose it when you may need it most. By the way, I'm not trying to make anyone sound dumb by my comment.
